My interest in driving Porsche cars started over 20 years ago with the purchase of a 1986 944 Turbo. After becoming familiar with the extraordinary performance capabilities of the car I attended several driving schools. This ultimately lead to time-trial racing in SCCA Solo II Autocross. In 1999 I purchased a second 1986 944 Turbo to race in PCA Club Races. After participating in several PCA Driver's Education programs and Club Races at Road Atlanta I was totally hooked. I later became SCCA licensed and certified as a PCA Instructor. I now spend most of my track time teaching for PCA, PBOC, Phil Wicks and other high performance and race driving schools. Traveling the country mastering "the line" on road courses like Road Atlanta, Barber, CMP, Sebring, Roebling, Daytona, Spring Mountain, Infineon and many others is one of my passions in life. I curre! ntly ha ve two Porsche 968's, the best of the perfectly balanced Porsche cars, that are used for student instruction and a 993 that I use as a personal DE and race car. If you've never experienced what your Porsche can really do you are missing over 50 years of race engineering and refinement. It will surely be one of the greatest experiences of your life and you will be a better driver on the street. |
